Assalamualaikum. 2 more days to go and we will transit to a month of glory and happiness. Syawal 1429 Hj. Saya, Muhammad Izwan, memohon ampun dan maaf jika ada kelakuan saya yang tidak anda senangi, dan mohon halalkan segala makan minum saya yang anda tanggungi.
Sebulan puasa kita jalani
Manahan lapar dan segala noda
Sepuluh jariku susuni
Kemaafan lahir dan batin dipinta
Rendang sekuali dimasak ibu
Ketupat palas dianyam halus
Takbir dialun penuh syahdu
Seribu keampunan dimohon tulus
Langsir megah menghiasi jendela
Semakin berseri dengan kebaya
Hari raya disambut dengan penuh gembira
Buat semua tidak kira miskin kaya
Amboi cantik berkebaya nonya
Elok rupa bak puteri kayangan
Ramadhan suci menutup tirainya
Semoga dapat bertemu di tahun hadapan
Kuih tart dan makmur dijadikan jamuan
Gembira ditamu sahabat dan taulan
Tamatnya Ramadhan menyambut Lebaran
Maaf dipinta membuka baru satu lembaran

Assalamualaikum. Went to break fast with my Paya Lebar Fire Station EAS peeps at Hajah Maimunah Restaurant last Wednesday. It was pretty successful actually with 17 people turning up. This is the first time an outing as such is organised. I am so thankful that the people gave their best corporation with me, and even those who were working night duty that day, still made it for the outing. Thank you Hasnon, Kak Wati, Ilham, Zohri, Patrick, Najeeb, Encik Norizan, Adam, Fakhruddin(photographer), Shaiful, Rifai, Nabil, Fairuz, Ramiz, Salizal and Gf. They were all happy with the choice of restaurant. Thank you to Hajah Maimunah for your corporation and the array of delicious dishes! Those who make their debut presence in Hajah Maimunah Restaurant were happy with the ambience and food. Alhamdulillah. Pictures are coming up soon. Guys, thank you for making this plan of mine a success!

Assalamualaikum. Had a morning session of tuition today. Haiz, being a tutor is not easy. We have to clear all the "shit" left by their school teachers. It is indeed hard to be a teacher but I don't understand why some teacher don't bother to check if ther students really understand whatever they have taught. When it comes to exams and some of the fail, the teacher will blam the students, "Huh you lazy bum, never study!" Maybe it is human nature to always push their faults to some other people. I am having a pretty hard time making my students to understand what ever they have went through the whole year within a very limited time as their exams are around the corner.
After the session, I went to North Bridge Road. Primarily to cut my hair and do my Friday Prayers at Sultan Mosque. It was my second time praying there. Should I grow up being a very successful and rich man, I will insyaAllah donate some money to the mosque; improving its infrastructure. It was so peaceful in Sultan Mosque. The atmosphere is just perfect for those who are seeking solace. I thought of buying kuihs at the bazaar but there were too many people. Instead, I bought Zamzam's Murtabaks and Katirahs. Also, ordered 2 books by my most favourite author, Habiburahman El-Shirazy which is Ketika Cinta Bertasbih Jilid 1 and 2. Also bought Syamil's album. He is/was a student from Madrasah Al-Junied. I feel the the need to support as I am really touched by the school's effort to give him this opportunity to utilise his talents. It was a pretty good album entitled 'Munajat'. Well done Madrasah Al-Junied and Syamil, you have a very beautiful voice, masyaAllah.
Unfortunately, I could not stay on to break fast with my dear Bahas friends as I am on standby today. In case I am activated, I have to report back to my base as soon as possible. What to do, NS = Minimum Freedom! Never mind guys, I will try my best to be free on the day you guys going Jalan Raya together, insyaAllah!

Assalamualaikum. Since Hari Raya is coming in 3 weeks time, I would like to play Hari Raya songs on my blog. This is to engender the mood of Hari Raya-ing. I am still thinking of planning a few things like breaking fast session with the ambulance peeps, Raya outing with YPS peeps, Raya outing with NBS peeps and a Raya mega outing with the ambulance peeps as this will be my last Hari Raya as a medic/NSF. Ahhh, Hari Raya Aidilfitri on Syawal 1429 Hijrah. I just cannot wait for it but at the same time, I feel sad that Ramadhan is leaving us soon. In the past, I do not understand the fact that people keep saying that Hari Raya is a day of victory and month of gatherings and forgiveness. I thought the gathering was just at a family level but it isnt. Now, I am a grown-up, I truly believe in it. Apart from the food, and the beautiful traditional clothes, I am also looking forward to all the gatherings. If we sincerely understand the meaning that lies behind Hari Raya Aidilfitri, we will be able to celebrate it in a more appropriate and a memorable way.

Assalamualaikum. Ramadhan is here. Felt a little more peace with no syaitans/iblis around. Hehehe... Anyway, went to CDA last week. Again, forgotten about Luqman. Told him that I would vist him that day but it slipped my mind. Anyway, miss meeting Luqman but I got to meet someone after the session on the way home. I was sleeping on the train and sunddenly felt someone touching me (trying to wake me up). Initially I thought it must some old people who wants the seat to be given to them and there was a bit of urgh... I am sleeping man! And guess what, when I opened my eyes, I saw someone whom I have wanted to meet for a long long long time. And it was none other then my JC buddy, Bashirah. Oh Bashirah! Ahh! We had a lot of catching up to do. Her new school, her new rabbit, my new life, my meetings with sick Singaporean and bla bla bla... The last time we met was last Hari Raya at Cikgu Hani's place. Hopefully, get to meet the IJC, NBSS and YPS peeps during Hari Raya. And of course the Bahas and CD peeps!
