Assalamualaikum. Had a pretty long break but sadly, I am called back again tonight. Haiz... When will this end? March 2009 huh? For once, I wish the clock to tick quicker, faster. Anyway, went to my secondry school friends Christmas Chalet! Gosh, it is great to see all of them there. Kenneth (the mastermind), Ismail, Saddiqi, Saddiq, Melvin, Kok Leong, Derrick, Joel, Cassandra, Kelly, Alaina, Siew Feng, Grace, Xiu Jin, Gek Peng and Xin Hui! Thank you so much for making my day. Had a chat session with Kenneth and the twins. It has been months since we chat. Wah, great catch up. The food was yummy and the fondue was just superb!!! Guys, thanks for the presents. Sorry that I brought and unwrapped present and no cards for you guys. Thank you Kelly for the gift from Australia, Kenneth for the useful present, and for the cards, thank you Kenneth, Melvin, Gek Peng and Xin Hui. I feel bad though but it was a bit too rush for me. Had so many things to do this break, and furthermore Hari Raya Haji just passed. This year won't be able to celebrate Christmas due to working, but it is ok, I'll save lives. Hehehehe...

Anyway, 05S71 outing was cancelled yesterday and so I decided to go out with my parents to IKEA. Went there to look around and after that went to Queensway Shopping Centre. Met Fitria and Munirah there! Hello Girls! Too many people there but I still managed to get myself a pair of shoes frm KAPPA. First time trying KAPPA Shoes and hopefully it will be a good start, next one hopefully will be my beloved ADIDAS shoes. Hehehhehe... Tops done, shoes done and now the pants search! Oh ya, thought of Izwan's latest fashion mood!

After that, headed back to Chong Pang! Finally got one of my most favourite DVD, TROY and Kingdom of Heaven! Gosh, it is one with the Director's Cut. Not much difference actually but I am glad that I bought teh DVD. Great movie. Still have yet to watch Kindgom of Heaven, but heard that it is a good movie. Hope so. Now, back to work!

Assalamualaikum. I want to share this beautiful song to all! Enjoy the latest song by my idol!

Melawan Kesepian, Hadiah Daripada Hati
Datin Seri Siti Nurhaliza, Pongky Jikustik
*recommended to listen to this song in a dark peaceful room

Apapun yang terjadi
Berjalanlah tanpa henti
Airmata tertahan
Waktu untuk dijatuhkan

Nanti kitakan tahu
Betapa bijaknya hidup
Sepahit apapun ini
Pelajaran yang bererti

Semoga kepergianmu
Tak akan merubah apapun
Semoga mampuku lawan
Kesepianku...

Direct translation...

No matter what happen
Continue the journey
Holding back the tears
On the verge of crying

We will know someday
How beautiful life is
No matter how hard it seems
It will be our best guidance

Hopefully, your absence
Will not change anything
Hopefully, I will be able
To battle this loneliness

Assalamualaikum. I would like to take this opportunity to wish all Muslimin and Muslimat, A Happy Hari Raya AidilAdha.

Assalamualaikum. Just done watching Asian Idol. Gosh! I love the second performance by Malaysia's Jaclyn Victor. I thought it was international! She reached the highest note among the other contestant. I think the strongest voice goes to Mau, most flexible voice goes to Jac, sweetest voice goes to Mike and the Indian Idol got the nicest voice. Singapore's and Vietnam's Idol are the most commercial pair. Cannot wait for the results tonight!

Anyway, went to Geylang Serai just now to get Datin Seri Siti Nurhaliza's latest album. It was superb and worth the journey and money! So many new things done by her. Changes and more changes. I love all the songs in this album. Ok, shall not talk lots about her, she must be having her most peaceful moment in front of the Kaabah now.

Let's get serious now. Dear beloved friends of mine who still remember and appreciate me, thank you for wanting to go out with me but I am so sorry that I turned down the offer. All of them. It is not that I forget about you guys or no longer treasure our friendship but I just do not have the time. Sometimes, I do not even have time for myself, what more my family. I have been getting less than 12 hours of off-duty hours nowadays out of the 48 hours I am entitled to. I really appreciate and touched by the offer to be still in touch and the thoughts of keeping the relationship going strong. To my medic friends too, I know that I have been turning down ALL your offer to go out together but I do have other commitments too. I will try to make up for it some other day.

Aku lelah untuk terluka,
Saat semua mata memandangku nista
Hilang arah diriku disini
Tanpa Kalian, Hadiah Daripada Hati
Datin Seri Siti Nurhaliza, Taufik

*presenting Aisy's favourite song! Aspalela

Assalamualaikum. Finally I got myself a new and the latest fragrance from Hugo Boss, HUGO XY. Interesting way of differentiating the one for female and male. Usually, it is like HUGO for Male and otherwise but this one is interesting, do you know how are you determined scientifically to be a boy or a girl when an egg is fertilized by the sperm? It is by the chromosome XY or XX. If it is XX, the baby is going to be a female one and if XY, it will be a baby boy. Hey, I am once a Pure Biology student too. Hehehehe...

Anyway, got a new haircut too. Feel so light on the head now. Is it true that people who have wavy and curly hair are short-tempered? The hairstylist asked me if I am one, and I answered, "Errrr... I do not think so" Do you think I am one, people?

Hope the new look and fragrance will lift my spirit as it has been down-down for the past week. I've been called back twice, 2 standbys back-to-back. Gosh! I worked 4 days straight and I hope I will be okay! Arghhh, think about this irks me a lot! Got a warning when phlegm starts to clog my throat and I can feel the heat under my skin, drank a lot of Apple Juice yesterday to boost my immunity with the Vitamin C content. Have been drinking a lot of water and hopefully I will be fine soon. Hate Rota 2 and 3! Well, not all of them but most!

Another wish, I hope I can get hold of Datin Seri Siti Nurhaliza's latest album by the end of this week. Oh please ship the albums over to Singapore as soon as possible! Another interesting thing, this album is a collaboration of Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore's great composers. Singapore's Dick Lee composed a song for Datin Seri for her latest album in conjunction of the musical Remy... P. Ramlee. Shall see how great is he! Can't wait to hear songs like Sutramaya, Wanita, Melawan Kesepian and Mulanya Cinta by Dick Lee!

Lembaran yang bakalku akhiri
Kisah semalam menjadi penyedar diri
Disulam agar terlahirnya satu memori
Andai bisa dijulang kanan dan kiri
Pasti tidak mungkin akanku mungkiri
Segalanya diuji hati-hati dengan indahnya terpatri
Menjadi suatu identiti yang akan membuat diri sendiri tergari ...

Assalamualaikum. I am still furious. Yesterday was supposedly my off day and I got called back because an idiot took MC. Heard that he has been playing MC and all. He evr told me that he is already sick and tired of being a Medic and want to change vocation. Well, I think he is just so stupid. This is NS, do you think you have a choice? Anyway, in the first place, if you do not like the vocation, why do study for the tests and pass them all to pass out as a Medic? Stupid right? Yesterday was also my parent's 31st Wedding Anniversary and I already prepared something to celebrate it at night since my dad will only be back home at 7 p.m. And at 5.30 p.m, I got called back. So stupid!

Now, I know the importance of focus when you are a Medic. My mind was pretty off, maybe due to the anger and the thoughts of the screwed up plan for my parent's anniversary. Went for a case at a bowling alley. Case of unable to walk. As you guys know how slippery bowling alley is, I wasn't careful enough and lost balance and to look professional I quickly landed on my hand and unfortunately, the part of my hand that landed first was my thumb nail. Gosh, it was so painful. At first I thought, it was nothing, just a reflex action. A few minutes later, I realise that blood was already pooling in my glove. Shit! The funny thing was the patient got so scared when he saw the blood. He even asked my paramedic to attend to me first instead of him as he thought my condition as more serious since I was bleeding. He kept apologising and asking me if I was okay. Haiz... One of my sweet patients! When I reached the hospital and opened my gloves, the crowd at the A&E Dept was looking at me. After washing my hands and got rid of the blood, I checked my thumbnail. Gosh, It was partially detached. Urrgghhh! Luckily it was my left thumb which is less-frequently used. Yesterday was REALLY a bad day!

Anyway, this is my all-time-favourite song "Bukan Cinta Biasa" and would like to dedicate this song to my parents whose love for one another are still going strong at the 31st year, and all the loving couples out there!

Assalamualaikum. Went to Panasonic building to redeem my voucher in the afternoon and after that went to Queensway Shopping Centre. Seriously, I have never been there. I know that the place is pretty popular among youngsters but sorry, I am part of the minority who is not with it. Pretty impressive, lots of shoes and recreational sporty stuffs. To a large extent, it resembles Far East Plaza. I love the shoes there. So many to choose from. Better designs than those I saw at Far East. Will go there again to get a pair of shoes... Set my heart on two shoes, a Kappa and Adidas shoes.

Clean my wardrobe just now and realised that I have many tops that I have not wear before. 2 from Esprit, 2 from TOPMAN, 2 from G2000 and 1 that I bought in Langkawi. Guess I have to stop shopping for tops and shall concentrate on jeans, berms and shoes hunting. Hmm have to redo my shopping list. Anyway, it is Christmas people. The shopping season is here!

Bumped into Mrs. Lim just now. I am so envious of her. She still recognise and remember my name after all these years. She taught me once, in Primary 2 Arts class. She amazed me in many ways. Her poise, elegance in simple means, as well as her strong personality. She even remember the fact that I was one of the players in the Scrooge Musical at the Jubilee Hall, Raffles Hotel when I was in primary 6 and asked me to catch the ongoing Scrooge - The Musical by the Singapore Repertory Theatres at the DBS Arts Centre. Also, she asked me to continue pursuing in this field- the theatres. She advised me to continue being active in acting and musical. "Izwan, you really should pursue this since you have the flare for it. Not all people have what you have and what you can do..." she said. Well, this statement really arouse the theatrical side of me to start being active again in the theatres. Hmmm, I will wait and most probably I will do this when I am in NUS, insyaAllah. NUS arts scene is pretty active, so I think I will pursue it there.

Anyway, one thing that is making me excited is Datin Seri Siti Nurhaliza's latest album- Hadiah Dari Hati (A Gift from the Heart) She will be going to Mecca to perform her pilgrimage and also if you realise the album's cover, she never show her hair. Media has been saying that this might be one clue to wether she is going to wear tudung (scarf) once she comes back from Mecca.
