Assalamualaikum. It has been a tiring week. Audit is coming. One after another section is being audited. We are all divided into 4 groups and each one is asked to be in charge of a section in this whole EAS thingy in the station. Even though I am in one of the groups, I am helping out in 3 groups' area. Doing the paper work, which is my original sector of work, checking the assets numbers and making sure things that are supposed to be there are there in the ambulance in the stipulated quantity. Apparently, I have an endless trail of job waiting for me. Making things worst, there are so many calls these days...
Nevertheless, I do not want all these things to disrupt my "life". I watched many movies and read some books. I watched Children of Heaven. The 40 Year Old Virgin, V For Vendetta, Anak, Devil Wears Prada and Sex and the City. Read the Kite Runner by Khaled Hossaini and Alun Hidup by Khadijah Hashim over the last 2 weeks. Ah, it feels so good when you complete reading a book. But I guess the higlight of all these is Sex and The City movie and the
Kite Runner book. Kite runner is a wonderful book. May not be the best book that I've read but I think is certainly one of the best book that I have read so far. I like book like this, fiction or non-fiction autobiography of Asians', like Chinese Cinderella, The Red Veil, Geisha, Salina and this
Kite Runner. Sex and the City was better than I expected. It gives you this "feel-so-good" feeling after watching the whole thing. The beautiful and gorgeous wardrobe and the
classness and
chicness of the "girls". They intrigued something within my inner soul, questioning things like... Is it possible to hold onto a friendship for that long like that of Miranda's, Samantha's, Carrie's and Charlotte's? Is it possible to have a true friend like Hassan? FRIENDSHIP! When I look at mine, I wish I have one like theirs. But actually I do have one friend, one true friend, maybe not as true as Hassan but I belive he's trueness and sincerity to this friendship of ours. But, I realised that I have not been appreciating it as much as he does. Ohhh idiot me. However, dear friend, I will try to appreciate it as much as you do. I will try my dear friend...

Assalalamualaikum. Yeah!!!!!!!!!! MTV Asia Awards is back after a year break. It was last held in Bangkok, Thailand in 2006. As for me, this MTVAA means a lot to me. Apart having Dato' Siti Nurhaliza in it, but because it hold a lot of memories for me and my friends. Looking back, trying to get the tickets for this even was crazy! But we had fun despite being disappointed not getting a single tickets.
Anyway, MTV Asia Awards 2008 will be held at Arena of Stars, Genting Highlands, Malaysia on 2nd August 2008. Dato' Siti Nurhaliza is again nominated for the Favourite Artist for Malaysia. For the past few years, she never missed this award when nominated. Like Stefanie Sun, she was also dropped off from the nomination list in 2006. It has been Stef, Stef, Stef and Siti, Siti, Siti but new names like Taufik Batisah and Mawi garnered the award for respective categories in 2006.
Personally, looking at this event and how my idol was involved in the event yesteryears, it certainly gives me a jolt of pride. She was only given a minute slot in 2003 to sing her Bukan Cinta Biasa, and through that performance, the organizer honoured her to sing Say It Isn't So with internation singer Gareth Gates in 2004. Only in 2005, she was given full credit when she appeared solo on stage in Bangkok to sway the audience with Seindah Biasa. In 2003, Lee from the Blue commented that she is so pretty that he wanted to marry her! In 2004, when asked, sexy Mariah Carey said Siti Nurhaliza was the most impactful Asian Artist for the night of Valentine's Day in 2005, in 2006, she sashayed the red carpet with her beautiful outfit and was named one of the 5 best dressed in MTV Asia Awards history.
Hopefully, she will be honoured again by her fans to "snatch" back the award and will be making her performance and maiden appearance in her tudung. Siti... Siti... Siti... You got to do it right!

Assalamualaikum. Last week was one of the most exciting moments in my life. Back at work, I had my first maternity case. Wah! Tragic and amazing! I got to see everything and live! I am just so
takjub dengan kebesaran Tuhan looking at the process! I am so thankful that PM Norwati and FRP Zaidi were both there. PM Norwati was very calm as usual and I really respect her for that. Having all the experience and her
selawats, she was a good
bidan. The parturition was a fast and "clean" one.
Apart from that, things in station got better, the politics got in control! Relationships between medics got much much better. Helping PM Handy doing all the leave files and dockets was an arduous and onerous task but still, we did it painstakingly. Syed and I are now in-charge of dockets and leave files. Hmmm... Serving the nation, people...
Last weekend, went to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for my cousin's wedding. It was great getting to gather with family members that we rarely meet and it was nice that we are still close despite
meeting occasionally. It was pretty nice and grand for the people there. Got to know that the "pak-andam" is Akademi Fantasia's make-up artist. Gosh, he did the make-up for Saida, Datuk Siti Nurhaliza's sister for the show and ever make-up Ziana Zain. Unfortunately, not Datuk Siti's. There was dance performances, fireworks and one of the highlights is the presence of Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim's daughter who is also one of Malaysian diplomat. The food was pretty delicious and fresh flowers engender the grandeur presence of the
pelamin. This make me start thinking of my wedding which will be in ... 7-10 years time?
