On last Saturday went to Bedok Community Library for the Pesta Pantun 2006 organised by PBMUKS. I think that this is a great initiative taken by PBMUKS to keep the Malay Language, Literature as well as Culture alive. Congratulations PMUKS! I am very worried about the competition. Bashirah, Hilwa and me will be representing Innova Junior College for this yearly competition. Gosh! Our opponent will be Madrasah Wak Tanjong and Jurong Junior College and we are in the 1st round of the competition. We need supporters for this and there will be a segment where the supporters are asked to complete some of the pantuns, so those interested do tell me. It will be on the 4th February 2006, Bedok Community Library at 10.30 a.m.
After that I went to Downtown East chalet. Had a super duper great time there. It is really good as banishing all my sorrow thought. It was Aisy's birthday party. On the Saturday's night, we played some games with the kids. Oh my GOSH! The kids are really cute. There are very innocent and will do everything that you asked them to do just for the sake of winning a present. That is the spirit that is lacking in me. I don't feel like competing at all ( as in my studies and competitions ). I slept there and just reached home just now. The zephyr of happiness really blows away the mirth of sorrow. Just don't come back. I am glad that I am perfectly okay with all the things that have plunged down my emotion over the past few weeks. Although it is gone, but the mark is still there in my heart. Just hope that it will not bleed again.
I am all ready to start this new year, 1427 Hijrah, according to the Islamic calender. Although I am pretty sick, my body's temperature is running high, I do no want to waste it even right at the start. Hope the panadol, good night sleep and fruit juices will keep it down.
Wishing all the Muslims, Selamat Menyambut Ma'al Hijrah 1428 and to the Chinese, Gong Xi Fa Cai!
